We all care abt Haiti and follow what we can in a myriad of ways. The
Corbett List "of old" has, to some extent, been replaced by social
media. Twitter, the most timely source for news, is my primary news
source... and btw, there's a LOT to follow from countries other than
Haiti (perhaps you've noticed some dangerous & distressing chaos in the
White House?). In any case, topics here do not reflect all concerned or
all concerns. In the meantime...Haitian Lit is as good as any
documentary on Haitian history & politics. Roumain, Brierre, Roussan,
Roumer, etc. were writing and fighting for new version of Haiti in the
1930s-1940s. Alas, their contemporary--who was also a poet and founder
of a literary journal--emerged as the century's dictator in chief.
