It is interesting to note that Bishops Holly's son,
Arthur, became a leading light of the Haitian Rosicrucians. His books
are out of print but there are photo copies circulating about.  And
let us not forget the Arcadians hounded out of Canada who settled in
Haiti, then, not adjusting well to the ecosystem traveled on to New
Orleans.  A decendant of those folk is Tina Giraud who visited Haiti and
was moved to live and work there for several years. She was a
significant figure supporting and participating in the work of several
of the top dwapo artists.

These migrants into Haiti may stay or leave, but it appears from
their letter and works that they are always moved and enriched by the
experience of being in Haiti.
