I just received a flyer by email announcing the November Intensive in
Louisville with Bert Hellinger. I am very drawn to attend this
Intensive and I actually have the means to "swing it" financially and
fit my work schedule around it.
However, at this moment, my gut feeling tells me a resounding: "No,
don't go!" As I get older, I'm learning more and more to follow my gut
feelings, but I also know that sometimes the gut just needs some
clarification to change its "mind."
So I'm asking for some clarification here, hoping that other
subscribers might be in the same boat as I am about this Intensive.
To cut to the chase here:
Will there be a Hellinger-Sciencia banner hanging from the rafters in
Louisville like there was in Pichl?
If the answer is yes, then I'm definitely not going. If no, I will be
open to attending, but still would like more clarification on this
issue before I make my decision.
(I focus on the banner because that's what really got my attention
when I first saw the Camp Pichl video. It was that big purple
Hellinger-Sciencia banner hanging on the back wall. You see, I'm from
Texas, and the real religion in Texas is not church on Sunday morning
but high school football games on Friday night. And in school the
morning of the game is a giant pep rally in the gym.
So when I saw the Pichl video, I was transported back to my high
school pep rally days where banners of the school's past athletic
triumphs would be hanging from the gym rafters as all of us students
would be screaming, essentially, YES!!! to encourage the football team
to win. I'll tell you, Sophie Hellinger could easily train any
football cheerleading squad in Texas or anywhere else! :)
A few people wrote me privately many weeks ago that the Louisville
Intensive would not be a Sciencia franchise event and that Sophie
Hellinger would not be attending at all. However, when I read the
latest flyer announcement, there is nothing really clarified about
these two critical issues.

Sciencia is not mentioned, nor is Sophie. And as I read it, I
actually wonder if I can really trust this announcement. Given
everything that has been posted here in the last few months about
Pichl, about the cult nature of Sciencia, about its franchising, about
the splits in Bert Hellinger's soul and the split among facilitators,
about the betrayals in Mexico, etc., how is it that this flyer is
written as if all these very awkward and uncomfortable things never
occurred?
Or did I miss a recent memo about change? I have come to understand
in the last few months that Bert Hellinger is all about change and
shifting and completely redefining himself and his work. First, there
were family constellations, then movements of the soul and now
movements of the spirit. And Sciencia. Could it be that Bert Hellinger
has now moved on from even Sophie and Sciencia?
If that is true, or not true, could someone clarify it, please?
Because at this point, with no further clarification, I can only
assume that Bert Hellinger has NOT moved on from Sophie and Sciencia,
and that the Louisville Intensive will just be an American extension
of Camp Pichl. And then I have to say: sorry, been there, done that,
no more pep rallies for me.
