Hi Maria and friends .. thanks for your comments .. there's a couple of things
about the video I need to clarify …. it was made for family members who weren't
present. Many of them have little or no understanding of constellation work.
The text suggests the giving out of the Pearls was choreographed but that
wasn't what actually happened . The text was included in that manner to make
the process more understandable.
What actually took place was, when he died the nurse who was attending him
selected a flower from our garden to put on his heart. I recovered that flower
and put it in a crystal bowl on a bed of single pearls that were covered in
water to keep the flower hydrated.
The ritual took place week later, was very loosely planned, we were making it
up and going with the energy as it proceeded.
When we had it all the representatives in place, my brother Stephen and I had
to choose which of us represented our fathers descendants and who represented
him. Stephen choose to represent the descendants and i therefore represented
our father.
Now I'd been tending the flower on the bed of pearls for a week and it was his
spirit .. to me. Janne who we volunteered to facilitate the ceremony had a very
clear view that a candle would be his spirit. We hadn't talked about this and
simply assumed the other would 'know'.
So when the ceremony began I popped out and got the crystal bowl, pearls and
flower and Janne got the candle. She'd led me to where she wanted me to proceed
from, and, I wasn't giving up the Pearls and flower and she wasn't letting me
go without the candle, so did what any sensible partner would do … I took both.
When I took the first step it was immediately revealed what to do and that was
to give the pearls out to the various family members with a message to the
receiver and all of messages were different.
The first Pearl was given to my brothers wife Eva, and the text has some
systemic significant statement about her having her place .. what was actually
said was ' I want you to have this Pearl and remember me because it represents
my love for our family'. And so it went on …
Finally when dad had taken his place I realised there were still two pearls
left and wondered who they could be for and realised one was for me .. and you
can see me put it in my pocket and the other was for Janne .. my dad really
loved her and was incredibly grateful for all of the care and love she showered
on him, particularly toward the end .
The final movement was Janne had handing his spirit .. the candle .. to the
'Spirit of our Family

What a privilege it must have been for you growing up with a father whose
main messege is that the most important thing in life is " love and

years and 27 days at home peacefully with his family.
His instructions were no funeral and no mourning. He was profoundly deaf but
even so had read a lot about Bert Hellinger and constellations and was a
huge fan of anything that engendered the movement of love in families. He'd
also attend a number of constellation workshops facilitated by Thomas Falke,

systemic constellations, a little we know of Lakota Sioux shamanism and some
work we have begun to develop that utilises the 'The Spirit of the Family'
in creating the ritual/ceremony.
