Come on Joe, y ou and I both know the correct term isn't "bubble gum" but
"insulative moldable chickle"

Methinks you are about to become an electronics tech !
Cut the plug off the old fan keeping a couple inches of wire with the
plug, strip the insulation off about a half inch, twist red to red, black to
black, and yellow to yellow, together, and then cover the bare wires with a
wad of bubble gum.
Next time at Radio Shack get some connectors and replace the bubble gum ?

Ok..I received my new pc fans..one of them is a Panaflo dc brushless
Model #FBA09A12M. The problem is..at the "plug" end..there is no plug, just
a red wire, a black wire, with exposed wire ends. I have NO idea what to do
with it, now in the box along with the other brands/types of fans I ordered,
there was a wire with a connector to my pc on one end and a connector on the
other end that sort of looks like the one coming out of the fan but is not
the same. This connector wire is red, black and yellow, the wires coming out
of the fan are black, red.
Color me puzzled..does anyone have any idea what or how I'm supposed to
connect this type of fan to the MB?
                                             TIA.......Jackie
