[CTS] Mouse on speed! :-(

I bought a logitec optical mouse a couple of weeks ago and I was hoping
this problem would just go away, but not yet! :-( Sometimes it seems
the cursor has a mind of its own. It jumps to another location by itself.
It's the darndest thing to watch! :-O I had the driver that came with it
installed, but uninstalled it cuz of a feature that was more hinderence
than help. But I did notice the jumping around before I installed the
driver because I was thinking the erratic behaviour would cease! <shrug>
Any suggestions?
