Hello Gardeners,
On Monday, the Town expects Dale Percy Excavating to start working on the
Oxbow including removing the gravel from the garden.
Josh sent a soil test to UVM and the results from that should be back in a
few weeks. Tricia envisions adding some compost and topsoil to the garden
and we're thinking a cover crop, too. Exactly how all of this will unfold
remains to be seen but know that resurrecting the garden will be underway
over the next few months.
If you have ideas about how best to approach this or ideas for garden
improvements, we are all ears!
On another note, here's a great opportunity to learn more about no till
gardening. Kayleigh Boyle and her partner have a market garden in
Craftsbury and are hosting a NOFA sponsored tour

morning. I e-mailed NOFA today and learned they still have space available-
you can register online or walk in on the day of. Dan, Josh, and I are
going- it would be fun to have you join us!
