I encourage all Collaborative professionals to participate in the IACP Client
Satisfaction Survey as well. It took only an hour of my time to complete the
tasks: identify the 12-month period to maximize the number of collaborative
clients served and send the emails.
The instructions for contacting clients are all set out on the IACP website and
emails on the survey. I personalized the invitations and sent to 25 clients
with blind copies to the other team members on those cases. Within a matter of
days, I received 20 positive responses that I passed on to Crescent for follow
up in June with the actual survey. That is all you have to do.
This is a great opportunity to get concrete information from our clients in a
time efficient manner. Many practice groups have local case reporting systems
which may require completing forms and coordination with the team on reports.
IACP has streamlined the information gathering so all we collaborative
professionals need to provide are names and email addresses of willing
participants. Crescent will do the rest.
Please take an hour of your time to identify and contact your clients. It is
important to this initiative, but it also reconnects you with the people who
have shaped your collaborative practice. What a gift to reflect on what we have
learned and how far we have come so that we can discover from our clients how
to shape a vision of the future. K
