Let me offer the 21-chapter training video, "The Hal and Elaine Case,"
which I produced with a great collaborative team, including Peggy Thompson,
Randy Cheek, David Fink, me, Lisa Schneider, Anne Jacobson Nunno, and
Jeffrey Kahn. Its purpose is to be a self-training resource for practice
groups.
The focus is on collaborative professional teamwork; each short video
chapter (8-12 minutes) demonstrates a stage of an unfolding collaborative
case that begins looking fairly do-able and becomes a slow-moving train
wreck on the client side. There is also a CD-Rom with trainer's notes and
a discussion guide for each chapter.
It demonstrates the coordinated roles of lawyers, financial neutral, two
allied coaches, and a child specialist, working together on challenging
problems.
