Dear Bruce,
In terms of actual collaborative law/divorce groups, I believe British
Columbia now has 7: 2 in Vancouver and in 5 other localities. There are also
collaborative practitioners in other towns or cities. I believe all the
groups are committed to the interdisciplinary model.

Hello National listserve members:

I have been invited by Will Hornsby of the ABA to submit an nomination for
the ABA Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access on behalf of Collaborative
Law.

I need to have the application submitted by Thursday afternoon.

Have any of you generated any figures for the total number of
collaborative
law groups that exist nationally and in Canada?

My sense is that internationally the concept is exploding so quickly it is
a
little like trying to give the size of a super nova. The best we can say
is
that it is increasing at an increasing rate.

The application description needs to be held to 200 words or less, so our
main task will be to speak succinctly. A daunting undertaking for any
attorney.
