In my case, it happens when the window doesn't detect I'm pressing keys to type text.  Like on this keyboard, I have to press CTRL + ALT + C to get a ç, a frequent letter here in France.  Keys with CTRL and Alt are ignored by the access panel and do not bring the cursor at the end of the page.  So using CTRL + ALT + C I can type ç right in the middle of the output window, where the cursor is.  Perhaps we would need a more "aggressive" behavior that scrolls down except if you use the arrows and some standard navigation keys.  To be thought about!

Hi Vincent,

Not soooooo often, but sometimes. Its a very interesting behaviour!

Maybe it has something to do with where the cursor is placed in the moment you start typing?

Hi Moritz,

No worries!  This list is here for lots of emails :D .

No, this is definitely not a normal behavior, but I have observed it too.  Most of the time, it happens when I use dead keys (for accents) at the beginning of my command, which, fortunately, doesn't often happen.  CocoMUD, or rather, the AccessPanel, is configured to place the cursor on the last line before writing input, but it needs to detect input, and it doesn't always do that right.  Does it often happen to you?

Hey hey!

I think there is a little problem.

Sometimes when you are in the output-history and start to type a new command, the first letter is not accepted. Is this a normal behaviour?

Again, sorry for so many mails!

Best wishes!
