ubuntu 16.04
Audacity fouled up, have tried
sudo apt-get remove audacity
sudo apt-get purge audacity
cann't remember the command but also purged the ppa...
but it doesn't go away when I try to remove from software center I
getthis error:

2. After adding the PPA, you can upgrade the editor using *Software
Updater* (or Updater Manager).
Or just run below commands one by one in terminal:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install audacity
