Glad you are still ok. That smoke can get you. When we had the Gap fire back
here,I got such a headache from the smoke that I left, they told us to evacuate
about, an hour later. Did the rain come? . Keep us posted .
Love and prayers,
Bonnie

Thank you so much, Bonnie. While still to the south of us, it's still too
close to feel comfortable, and the smoke and ash everywhere is a testament to
how close it really is. There are about a dozen homes that have been lost
while the fire has grown to 15,000 acres. 🤗 Big hug!

We're all hooked up and ready to roll if need be. So far, the fire is still
marching toward our lake, but we're expecting some heavy rain today which
should help. Thank you, Larry and Carolyn.

Subject: [cdcc] Prayer Request
Dear All:
At this moment, we're under a Level 2 evacuation order here at Loon Lake,
WA. The fast-moving Corkscrew Fire that started yesterday and has grown
to more than 5000 acres. The smoke is thick and the flames are making
their way to nearby towns like mine. Our little lake is very narrow at
the north end where we live, and the ridge above it is already glowing.
We'll be watching and hoping as the night progresses.
Please keep us and our local communities in your prayers.
Jane (Wells) Sprague
