Actually Brian, I used this program on numerous machines and the results=
 vary from completely garbled noise to rather clear sound.  It must have=
 something to do with the quality of the motherboard (in some respect).

I also had interesting results with another speaker driver program that I=
 think came with my "Wired For Sound" program, and it seemed to do a better=
 job than the M$ app.

In any case, for those who can't afford the sound card/speaker approach,=
 it's still a workable compromise in most cases.  :-)
