The correct address for multi crew experience is http://www.multicrewxp.com/ It seems that what will need to happen is that a completely new system will have to be developed, and once that is done, then maybe we'll be able to fly any aircraft. The problem is that most of the 3rd party stuff seems to be made in such a way not to work fully with these other programs. Once a way around this is found, then a new co-pilot program as wel as the checklists for all of the civilian and maybe some military aircraft can be added. You would think that we could find a check list editor out on the internet somewhere? Now if we could get a checklist editor and throw all of the lists for all of the planes, we then just might make fs more blind friendly so that we don't need any third party programs so that we can fly. I also would love to install the check lists for the space shuttle as well. At the present time, the space shuttle can't be IYP friendly. There will be a up grade do fs sometime coming up here in 2012. It will have a up dated space shuttle in it as well. Now if we had all of the checklists and a editor. We too probably could fly any aircraft including the helecoptors as well. How about a military tail hook mission as well? We could learn to launch and land on a aircraft carrier. It's just my opinion and I'd like to see opinions from my fellow blind pilots. Thanks to the screen readers and the IYP third party program. About the only thing that is not blind friendly are the flying lessons and the mission modes. Now here's some info for we all Now FS captain is pretty cool. For more info, go out to www.fscaptain.net I never could get this program to work after down loading and installing the demo. But it has some awsome wave files in it though. I think these wave files are more clearer and more realistic than IYP's. What I also like about fsc is that it has seniority and promotion ladder of success for we to try to earn the most funds. They also have a dispatch area, as well. So it isn't just making a flight that we already have saved and flying that route in FSX. We can fly for a company and earn a living and climb up the ladder of success. SMILES. The biggest problem that this blind pilot can see with the FSC program, is that it has a weird com program. I would love for other's to check this program out. Maybe we could get a blind pilot who knows how to write code to make if more blind friendly. Now there's a program out there that is sort of like IYP, but also lets you fly via a USB controller of your choice. The program is called Multi Crew Experience. If I remember correctly? SMILES. I think the web page is simply www.multicrewexperience.com I don't know about this program. I've stress tested if a few times. In this blind pilot's opinion. It looks like IYP is unfortunately still the best out there for we blind pilots. Last but not least. I also would love to get the program fs passengers or fsp for short blind friendly as well. For further info about fsp, go out to www.fspassengers.com I'm still trying to figure out which of the following two programs has better and more realistic and random like in real life sounding wave files. It's a toss up between fsc and fsp. Also, I also for we to learn something. I would love to see fs flight acadamy also blind friendly. Their web page is www.fsflightschool.com So there you have it. It would be cool if a blind person could write a flight simulator with the following programs for the package. 1. make it as real and as up to date and accurate as possible, but also make it blind friendly at all times as well. 2. Have the following programs. the core would be fs of course. The for some education. either and or both or something on the same ground as fsc and or fs flight school. then the only other program I could see would be something on the same lines as fs passengers. What does my fellow blind pilots think. You would think we could get someone out from the list who knows how to write code to 1. either write and sell our own sim. 2. offer our assistance to make the above programs more blind friendly so that we could 1. fly via the keyboard. 2. hopefully fly via a USB hand and foot controller of some type like our sighted friends are doing. What does everyone think? Have A Very Merry Christmas. Ron who if were sighted now knows that he would have had a career in the air and also just might have had the right stuff for that 1,000 hour certification for a space shuttle commander (CDR) or pilot (PLT) slot. Well, at least we can fly via our computers. SMILES. Its pointless without the checklists. Captain Sim has some really nice aircraft, but they don't include checklists for some reason. That If I can find a checklist creator that makes things work with IYP, that would work perfectly for the most part. The interesting thing is that The checklist creator that someone came out with does not do the approach and landing checklist. If it did that, I could fly any plane really. Now if IYP worked like one of the other copilot programs and had all of the checklists built in that would make more sense I think.
