Then it just seamed like it did.
Since I normally can be finished with the 226 flight around a quarter til or
even ten til and the flight with all of the ground check lists wasn’t completed
until around a quarter after five.
Also Robert.
For some strante reason, I didn’t get the ground frequency until I was at the
parking checklists once again.
But it was a interesting flight.
Only four more flights with the 738 and I’ll have one hundred flights with the
b738 and a total of one hundred and eight flights.
So that’s my two cents on the topic.

Hello Everyone,

What Ron has stated is actually not true... sorry Ron )-:

Standard Takeoff:
A Boeing 738 with a climb out speed set to 250 knots and a rate of climb set to
1,800 feet per minute, will attain 3,000 feet in approximately 1 minute 45
seconds, or 105 seconds.

Noise Abatement Takeoff:
The same Boeing 738 with a climb out speed set to 200 knots and a rate of climb
set to 900 feet per minute, will attain 3,000 feet in approximately 3 minutes
15 seconds, or 195 seconds.

Summary:
Thus, it takes approximately 90 seconds longer to get to 3,000 feet AGL in the
Noise Abatement mode. All other aspects of the flight are identical in both the
Standard and Noise Abatement modes.

I hope this helps.

Robert

  Hi to all.
Just to worn my fellow BVI pilot subscribert.
The noise abatement feature will add about a half of a hour onto your flight.
About a extra 15 minutes while climbing to that assigned leveled crusising
alt and then another roughly 15 minutes from that cruising leveled flight down
to the ground.
  So to all.
