From a software development standpoint, I wouldn't blame them. FSX is
old, let's just get that out of the way. It's a 32-bit application, and
for all of us who have usable vision, it cannot take full advantage of
today's graphics hardware. Prepar3D is still being updated, and while
based on the underlying FSX simulation engine, has been overhauled to be
64-bit and compatible with the latest iterations of DirectX.

Where did you see that? The most recent version as of March was developed for
both, and I would find it surprising that any company would drop the FSX market
until it dried up completely.

SimBrief doesn’t have really any GA aircraft unfortunately.
More bad news is that FSDreamTeam along with a few other companies announced
that they’re developing for Prepar 3D only. So, goodby to any new major
versions of GSX.

Hi everyone,
I just downloaded the DF7X that is supported by IYP (and probably by MCE as
well), and I have one question. For flight planning purposes, which aircraft in
the SimBrief system is the closest to the DF7X? I want to be able to generate
plans that are as realistic as I can.
Thanks,
-Tyler
