Protocol: Traveling
10.5 mile(s)
Comments:     Birded with Charlie Lyon. 2 observers, 3 hours (1:30-4:30 p.m.),
10.5 miles by boat. Clear, 62 degrees 10-12 N-weginning, choppy on lake
everywhere but pockets along N shore, then clear, 64 degrees, wind 12-14 with
often higher gusts mid-way through ending. Greater Scaup was best bird.
Additional numbers of Bufflehead, Canvasback for excellent counts and single
WBNU making 12 for day was great, too! All areas were very windy and detection
levels were low except waterfowl on lake and secluded thickets/ pockets on lake.
