[Bristol-Birds] Waterfowl fallout

Thursday morning (Nov17) around 9:30 am from the overlook at Patrick Henry Dam
I found:
8 SURF SCOTERS
25 Horned Grebes
5 Ruddy Ducks
4 Redhead
5 Ring-neck Ducks
6 Bufflehead
50-60 Coots (very tightly grouped together)
Below the dam bridge, I had 2 Black-crowned Night Herons.
At Warriors Path Lake I found:
9 Ruddy Ducks
15 Horned Grebes
2 Hooded Mergansers
8 Pied-billed Grebes
65-70 Coots
A very nice fallout. This reminds me of a saying Dr. Herndon always used "Foul
weather usually brings Fowl weather.
