Again, this is just not a concern for me.

Multi-billion dollar companies and decades of computer science PhDs have had, 
researched, solved, and perfected this solution. I
prefer to spend time on problems that such a statement is not true for.

Thanks. This is good inforrmation, and I'll keep it on hand. As Sina suggested, 
we will start by just assigning lots of memory to
the JMV and later look into memory compaction. Your information will come in 
handy then.
