Alex,

Yes, I think that would be a good first milestone. It would be easy to 
implement other useful subcommands as well. One problem is that for a 
truly useable release we will need to find a reliable way of portinng 
liblouis and liblouisutdml to various platforms. Could you install the 
Eclipse C++ plugin for the Mac and see if you can compile the latest 
liblouis with its command-line tools? liblouuisutdml can wait a bit. The 
one at www.abilitiessoft.com doesn't work. I'll have to fix that.
