Hello,Mercurial has a command line client for all platforms and so is perfectly accessible on all. For those who use eclipse, there is a plugin which is perfectly accessible.
I personally find mercurial very easy to get on with, I have seen many others say similar and also seen others say that moving from SVN to mercurial isn't hard. Normally if I get stuck with what command to use then hg help is fairly useful to point me in the correct direction and hg help <command> is good at telling you how to use it.

I'd really prefer subversion, or god help us, git, as the source control repository . Mercurial does not have the most accessible, as in any, cross platform clients. Yes, the command line one on Linux works fine. Anyways, just find a way of exporting/checking out the whole thing out of mercurial, then zip up that directory. In subversion, there's a direct feature for this. Sure, I know I should read the manual, but I want to concentrate on programming and design, so if I can ask an expert a question that seems the best use of my time. I have produced a draft design for BrailleBlaster in a local Mercurial repository. It would be nice if I could make a zip file for posting to the list, but the directory contains lots of other files, so i want to include only the files that have been registered with Mercurial. Can I do this or something similar? Thanks, John -- John J.
