Hi Diane,

this is a great idea. It would be awesome to see that BostonVis is flourishing!
The whole purpose is to connect the VIS audience through this channel.

Unfortunately, I have left Boston and went back to Europe.
It would be great if someone else could take over my coordination part for the BostonVIS :)
Is somebody interested and can spare some hours once/twice per month?

Cheers,
Michael

Glad to hear there is interest so far. Certainly, we could plan for New England area!

I’m not quite sure yet what the guidance will be for capacity either, but we do know MIT is planning to return to work in the fall, and many of the restrictions will be eased.

I'd be interested too. Not sure what is the guidance on capacity. But coming from UMass Amherst, I wonder if we can make it a New England event to include folks from Worcester, Providence, Lowell and others in the area.

I’m wondering if anyone has the interest or would be

I would have to check on availability and current guidance on
capacity, but could potentially offer to host at our MIT
Beaverworks facility in Technology Square in Cambridge.
