The short answer to the accessibility of the pdf file is that some can be 
accessed just fine, while others cannot, because of the 
security/permissions settings on the file established by its author. Its 
possible to make a 
pdf file that neither Openbook nor K1000 can access, and the same is true 
for using a screen reader with the latest version of Acrobat reader.
