[bookshare-discuss] Re: haven't heard

No, I had the same email address from before I joined Bookshare up to now. But
this was back in February and March, when Bookshare was short-staffed than it
is now, and perhaps some things fell through the cracks.

Hi, Evan. You didn't happen to change email addresses or anything during the
process? That does seem odd that you wouldn't have heard from them once the
verification process was complete. Take care.

Okay, I guess I was in the minority on this one. Because I never heard
from them about it, as I said. But still, if you don't hear from them soon,
you may want to check your My Account link from time to time to see what it
says there.

      Hi,

I will have to agree here. I remember getting an email when my NLS
verification came through.

I haven't read all my mail, so don't shoot me if other people answer
this as well, but you won't hear from Bookshare about that. I waited for weeks
and weeks to hear from them. Finally, I got a response - after multiple
requests for information - saying that I was certified. I then found that if I
looked at the My Account link, it tells you there if you are certified. I
didn't think to look at the My Account link because, not having paid for a
membership, I didn't think I had an account yet. So check your My Account
link, and if you are certified as print-impaired, it will tell you there. If
you are, then you can pay and be downloading books in a couple of minutes.

          Good luck.
