The shoes of the fisherrman is a great book too.It is on my list of books to read. I am willing to look for and buy both The Robe and Shoes of the Fisherman if someone is willing to scan them.

They were extremely popular several decades ago, and The Robe and Magnificent Obsession were made into movies. Some, like The Robe, are historical novels set in Biblical times; I think The Big Fisherman is about Peter, but I don't remember. Others, like Magnificent Obsession, Forgive Us Our Trespasses, are more what I suppose one would call spiritual or philosopical. Those of you who like Christian literature would like them. I haven't read any but The Robe years ago and saw the movies, but I think anyone would like them who like a good story.
