I don't think it would be necessary for you to describe the moves, since they 
are given in the caption.

  A good first three moves are Pawn to e4, Knight to f3 and Pawn to d4. You may 
have to adjust these moves though, depending on what Black does.



  is it still necessary for me to describe the picture as saying the white pawn 
moves from e2 to e4, the white knight moves from g1 to f3 and the white pawn 
moves from d2 to d4? Or is it pretty explanatory from the picture caption?
