Hi Jamie, I think the picture caption works. But that's just my opinion. I assume that somewhere previously in the book, we are told where the pieces in question started out? If so, then the picture caption works fine. You rock! What a seriously daunting task, dealing with a book like this! You may have to adjust these moves though, depending on what Black does. is it still necessary for me to describe the picture as saying the white pawn moves from e2 to e4, the white knight moves from g1 to f3 and the white pawn moves from d2 to d4?
