Hi Duane,

I just thoght I would add that Baen now provides their membership to webscriptions free of charge to blind users, since you didn't mention it, and I agree it is a great service.

mostly from <http://www.baen.com>WWW.baen.com. Baen Books started publishing all their books electronically as well as in print in about 1999. That service is called webscriptions. Baen also has about 80 titles in the Baen Free Library. You can download quite a number of books from that library. This will give you an idea whether or not you like the product that Baen Books sells. Jim Baen and one of his chief writers Eric Flint fought elaborate incription of electronic books. There us a section in the Baen Free Library talking about this titled Prime Palaver. Also If you have Kurzweil 9+ you can access the baen free library on line from there. I love Baen books and thank them much for making their books available electronically as they have done. I don't think they did it specifically for the blind, but it is a wonderful service. I own every webscription. Below my signature, I will print my read-me file which tells all the books I have in the library from Baen.

Sincerely Yours:
Duane Iverson
