You do have a point. She undoubtedly did mean like minded people and I was not thinking of that when I responded. However, I do have an interest in religion even if it is a hostile interest and I do comment on attempts to push it on other forums. I do not comment every time, just when the whim hits me like it did this time. If anyone is offended by my comment then I will say again that I never try to offend anyone, but I also never try to avoid it either, and the pushing of religion is offensive to me, thus eliciting my response. Also, even though I do not try to offend anyone, when I accidentally do so I fully expect that there will be some kind of response. I think the same should be expected from me. table with 2 columns and 6 rows Subj: [bookshare-discuss] Re: Miranda Borka To Lead Christian Literature Discussion... Clearly the announcement wasn't made for people like you and me, not interested, so why read it and take notice of it? Do you comment on the other literature discussion groups. If I had read it, as you did, and noticed Miranda's comment, I would have understood it to mean "others like ourselves." She probably saw no need to add those last two words because she assumed that only those interested in discussion Christian literature would read the notice. I'm quite certain that I understand what she means by content that might be embarrassing to them, too, without her having to state it. Sharon's correct, though, that it really isn't necessary to comment on everything that's posted here, especially if it doesn't interest you.
