I have one and enjoy it very much. Once set of double A batteries last more
than sixty hours. It also supports brf daisy two, rtf and a few other
mainstreamed formats. The only thing I don't like is the doubletalk speech,
which I find one of the worst synthesizers made, but the competitor products
use the same synth, so that is not a matter of comparison between them.
If you have any particular questions you can email me at

Also, there is a listserve where people are very helpful. If you would like
it's subscribing info I'll look it up.

available from APH, for reading txt, html, daisy, Word, wav, mp3, and some
other file formats. Do any of you have a Book Port and what kind of
experience have you had with it? Thanks in advance for the feed back.
