I would take a serious look at the Book Courier.

It is less expensive

Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Book Port

I am thinking about getting a Book Port. This is a portable device,
available from APH, for reading txt, html, daisy, Word, wav, mp3, and
some other file formats. Do any of you have a Book Port and what kind
of experience have you had with it? Thanks in advance for the feed
back.
