[bookport] Re: sending .wav files to the book port

The wave file I just sent to the bookport was 44100 HZ 16 bit. That
is typical CD quality. However, when I look at the size of the
original file and the size of the file on the bookport, the bookport
file is much much smaller than the original file. My guess is that it
is being converted into something the bookport can play. Anyway, it
does seem to work in that particular wav format. I'll play with some
others and see what happens.

hello Megan,

The quick answer is "Yes." I put a wave file on my BP just last
week. however, the BP is at least a bit picky about the format of
the file. So, I had to convert mine in order for the transfer
software to accept it as okay. What your problem might be I can not
say, but you may want to be more precise as to what you did and what
did, or did not, happen. With that, others on this list, who are
more experienced than I, will more likely be able to help. Good luck.
