Transferring texts takes about 5 seconds a file, unless you have a lot of them to transfer. An 100MB audio file probably takes 15 minutes. I use Lithium batteries with the bookport. When listening to texts, I get about 100 hours. When listening to audio files, I get less than that, but audio uses more battery power.

Mohit,
I believe the BookPort uses USB 1.1 so transfers are slow but I usually just walk away and do other things. I have not bothered to see how long a transfer really takes.

Depending on the type of file being played, you could see about 60 hours from a good pair of bateries.

Support for the current BP will continue as long as there are parts available. I just got my BP so I dont expect any trouble with it for a long time.

   Hope that helps.

11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. 14 I will be found by you," says the Lord.
