Hi Pamela:
I think you have made your goals clear. Do you know of another list where
members here can go an post thing which interest them? If there is no such
listserv, I can start a Yahoo Groups or a Google Groups listserv for users who
wish to post off topic type comments. But before I create such a group, I
wanted to check that I would not be duplicating a list which is all ready out
there. Another list might easy the traffic on the BP listserv, which should be
available to answer questions on the BP. When I don't know how to do something
with my BP this list has been invaluable.

As I say, I will be willing to start an alternative discussion listserv, since
people appear to need a place where they can exchange ideas.

Hello:

You all are certainly free to do whatever you wish, but APH does not have time
for another list, nor can we be held responsible for anything said on that
list. Several people on this list have expressed their wish to have this list
continue as they find it helpful. It's not the questions that are causing the
problem, it was simply the habits and behaviors that were developed. Questions
are never a problem. I will say things have been much improved in the last few
days. Under these circumstances, the list is much easier to deal with.

Hi All,

Obviously, Pamela already has too much on her hands.
I suggest we take the load off of her and start
another list for questions/comments that are not
related to beta testing.
The new list should have a 2 or 3 admins/moderators so
that if one admin goes incognito, the others can step
in and manage changes to the list.
The list topics can be broad, encompassing newbie
questions, mp3/wma conversion, NLS gripes, Harry
Potter, or whatever everyone wants to talk about, etc.
It will be a forum by users for users.

Would anyone be willing to start one or be an admin?
Any comments?
