That would be the seek command.
One thing you can use is the command whose name totally escapes me at the moment that lets you move backward or forward by a predetermined increment, as set in, well, in the settings menu. Oh man I need some sleep. But you can set it to move by a predetermined number of seconds either way: 1+2 moves you backwards, 2+3 moves you forward. It's not perfect, but it is useful.
