Your mind is a lot more enquiring than mine. I didn't even think of that one. He probably has a flash card in the BP, but you just never know.

Thanks for jogging my inquiring mind with this message. I just ran a test
here that I don't believe I've ever run before and you *do* have to have a
CF card in the BP in order for the transfer program to come up. I removed
the card from my BP and connected it to the computer and while I heard the
two tones indicating a USB connection, the transfer program wouldn't open
(even when I tried opening it manually from the Desktop) and eventually, I
got the low tone that ordinarily indicates that the BP is connected, but
that nothing is taking place. Thus, this may be the problem--be sure that
there's a CF card in the BP before connecting it.

one has to be put in?

Jeremiah 29:11 - 14.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity.
