Rick, thanks for the information. I'll have to check these out. _____ From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rick Alfaro Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 2:22 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: ear buds, ear phones, etc Nancy, I have recommended the Sennheiser PX100 head phones many many times and I have yet to hear anyone have nothing but praise for them. You can easily get them locally for under $50 or on the net for less than $40. They are very light weight and portable as they fold up sort of like a pair of glasses and they sound great for both music and spoken word material. They are extremely comfortable as they are not ear buds or in the ear type head phones. They simply rest comfortably right over your ears. Because they are open back head phones, you can still hear what's going on around you so if you are looking for something to block out any outside noise then these are not for you. I personally like to be aware of what's going around me, so these are perfect. --Warmest regards, --Rick Alfaro --rick.alfaro@xxxxxxxxxxx _____ From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of NANCY HILL Sent: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 1:19 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] ear buds, ear phones, etc I have read about a few brands of phones/buds that are mentioned in the bp manual. What kind of headphones do you use? I have smallish ears and ear buds are not friendly to me. I would like a portable pair of headphones that won't break the bank. Looking for your recommendations. Thanks, Nancy
