Once the files have been transferred to the bookport, they can be
moved without reconnecting to the PC.
The cut command is Star+pound. The paste command is star+0+pound.

A couple of questions: Are you talking about doing this from the unit
itself, without connecting it to the PC and opening the transfer program?
If so, what are the cut and paste commands? If you're talking about doing
it from the pc while the transfer program is open, how do you avoid having
the moved file treated as unfiltered by the bookport? I mean wouldn't you
have to use the pc's cut and paste commands this way?

Hi Marta and list!
If you unintentionally get files in the wrong folder, you can move them
within the book port to any folder. Simply locate the file, press the cut
command, then navigate to the folder you want, open it and press the paste
command. Bookport will announce file moved, and it truly will be.

That's right. I've sent many a files myself through the bookport that
way.
Sorry for forgetting to bring that up. I'd add one more thing though. If
you send single files or books using the steps described by Walt, they'll
end up in the bookport's root directory. Sometimes that can cause
problems,
as i've had the occasion to find out. So what you might want to do in
order
to avoid that, is put all the files you're sending in a folder, and then
send the entire folder to the bookport using the steps described above.
