Remember, too, that many of the things people like to attribute to the Book Port have nothing to do with the Book port, but everything to do with the transfer software that the Book port depends on. The Book Port has no braille back-translation capability, cannot handle Word, HTML or PDF documents, and cannot alter the playback speed of text. All these features are courtesy of the transfer software.
