Hello, Understood, and thank you. My point is that if you have two 1 GB cards, you're better off from both usability and economic standpoints than if you have one 2 GB card and it should decide to fail, which they can and often will do. No card is entirely free from the possibility of sudden catastrophic failure and my view is that if you've spread your CF card investment across multiple cards instead of putting it all into one super-size card, you're safer in the long run. Given their ease of use and portability, I just can't see the advantage; even with MP3 files; of having a single 2 GB card vs. having two 1 GB cards.=20 -----Original Message----- From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Otto Zamora Sent: Sunday, April 24, 2005 5:52 PM To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bookport] Re: compact flash card sizes Hello, Seem to remember that there are people on this list now using a two gb card. Are we speaking from experience here, or are we just speculating??? I failed math in school, but I do think that buying the two gb card is less money.
