There is no law that I know of that requires that anyone buy a bookport. The
simplest thing you can do is not to buy it in the first place. Although it
is far from perfect and there is obviously room for improvement, I'm happy
to have one. The minute APH or someone else comes out with a better device
that's affordable, I'll buy it.
