Grant - Does this program convert books from Audible? I have a book that's only available in format 2 (which won't play on the BP, of course) that I'd like to read on the device, which I could do if I converted it to a supported format like MP3. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grant Hardy" <granthardy@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 21, 2006 9:54 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: WMA files. I'd like to recommend a program called Switch. there's a free version of it. You never, never, never, have to use a JAWS cursor or mouse pointer to navigate it -- it's fully accessible. You never even have to enter the menu bar -- there are hotkeys for everything. Or you can run it on a batch of files from Windows Explorer. Dead useful. http://www.nch.com.au/switch/ It will converta real audio, OGG, WMA...anything, to mp3 files (even audio CDs)! I honestly can't say enough about it. I agree that the Book Port should really integrate conversion into the transfer software, but I wanted to recommend Switch as an excellent alternative.
