Hello Megan. Sounds like you need to run chkdsk or scandisk on your flash card. I'd copy stuff off of your flash card that you want to preserve before doing this. Much as it pains me to say, if that doesn't work, try reformatting your flash card and see if that makes a difference. Are your two computers running different versions of the transfer tool? If so, that could explain the difference in behavior. It sounds like one is running some sort of disk check, and failing, and the other is not bothering with this check. The clue, I think, is in your second problem. The fact that you're getting corruption on your notes files is indicative of a filesystem corruption issue on your flash card. Another way to test this theory is to try your Bookport with a second flash card, assuming you have one. good luck. -Brian On May 29, 10:31pm, Megan Kelly wrote: } Subject: [bookport] Two strange Book Port problems } Hi, } I seem to be experiencing two odd problems with my Book Port. } Firstly, when I connect my Book Port to my PC, it sporatically reboots.
