Debbie: If you are wanting to send music from CD's that you have, you will need to get a program which will extract the music from your commercial CD and allow you to convert the music into an MP3 file. At that point, then it will be ready for Book Port. There are several programs out there to do this--the most known one is a program called CD Extractor, which you can find on the Internet by doing a search on Google.com. This program will extract the material into either a Wave file or an MP3 file. MP3 is better, because it's smaller and will take up less space. Once you have the files converted, you will check the box in the Options tab of Book Port Transfer and send the files in the same way you would send any other files. Hope that clears things up for you. If not, there are plenty of us on this list who have done this very thing and will be able to assist you further. I'm interested in knowing how to transfer and play music on it. I read the users manual, but I don't quite understand how to do what I want to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
