I have an idea.

If you have a suggestion about a Book Port feature, even if it is as
off-the-wall as an automatic dog hair removal tool, please feel free to
send
it to the list. We encourage your creative ideas.

On the other hand, it would be nice if we could avoid getting into too
much
philosaphy about what or what not the Book Port should be.

In other words, if person a says the Book Port should iron clothes, it
would
really help list traffic if person b did not say, "Book Port is not a
clothes ironer." It is not that everyone on the list is not interested
in
person b's opinion, it is just that many of the people on this list are
busy, and they do not have time to read the amount of traffic generated
by
these kinds of messages. The traffic is getting so bad, in fact, that
the
developers cannot possibly keep up with the traffic and continue to
develop
clothes ironers and other features that many of you on the list have
suggested.

If person b feels compelled to write about the fact that Book Port is
not a
clothes ironer, and person b cannot refrain from expressing his opinion
about this fundimental issue, person b may wish to consider writing
person a
a private, polite message explaining why the device is this or that and
not
the other.

Thanks.
