[bookport] Preliminary review of new compact flash card

Hello,
Recently, I purchased a 4 gig type I compact flash card
manufactured by Dane Electronics to be used in my Bookport. I
purchased this card for $79.00 with free shipping and no sales
tax from Beach Camera.
My preliminary impressions about this card are very positive.
The Bookport had no difficulty recognizing or formatting the
card. The format process took perhaps 25 seconds although I
didn't actually time it. I installed five folders of mp3 books
which used approximately 600 megs of space on the card. The
Bookport had no problem reading the files or moving between files
or folders. In short, I have been very pleased with the card.
I do hope that if someone on this list purchases the CF card by
Transcend mentioned by Walt Smith that the user will post a
review of the Transcend card on this list.
