Hi. Since the Bookport is no longer being actively produced or developed, your best bet is to either get one second hand or go for the Victor Stream which is an alternative. Home insurance should cover your BookPort although you might want to check what cover you have for personal posessions outside the home as some insurers charge an additional premium for covering such things. Access technology is especially expensive and specialised, so check any insurance terms carefully. Hope this nformation is useful.
