Hi Sharon, I believe The only files that the Stream doesn't handle are braille files. Really, the stream is the way to go, especially for someone in school. And, it costs less than a brand new BookPort. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 6:23 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: NEED TO PURCHASE A BOOK PORT Doesn't the stream do both? I realize that the device is no longer being manufactured. Does anyone know where she can purchase one? She is finding that she cannot keep up with all the reading. Right now, she is taking a course and needs to be able to listen to electronic and/or audio files. She does not have the money to purchase two machines: one to listen to electronic files and the other one to listen to audio files. I am going to let her borrow my Book Port until she gets one of her own. On another topic, can I get insurance for my Book Port? Barbara No virus found in this incoming message.
