Hi I amm still have 2.3 even after disconnecting my bookport. Whare did
this come from.

Yes, this is indeed the case. I got mine in november last year and it had
2.4 on it.
When might we see a new version of the firmware?

You're not missing anything. Pamela reported that this was a release some of
the newest units are running but it is only running on those units that come
with it installed. Not quite sure what if anything is special about it other
than the number, but she assured us on list that we need not be concerned
about it.
